Kurt Barton, President & Chief Executive Officer

Kurt Barton is President and Chief Executive Officer of the Triton Group of companies. Since its founding in 2002, Barton has established a world-class management team at Triton and leads the company’s growth by expanding its footprint and acquiring new businesses and talent that compliment its breadth of products and services. Along with recognition as a prominent innovator and leader in the financial services industry for nearly two decades, Barton has transitioned Triton from a company known primarily for its financial management and consulting businesses to one that is now taking advantage of the synergies in the value-based markets.
Prior to founding Triton, Mr. Barton owned and operated a financial services company focused on managing benefits plans for school districts nationally. In 1998 Barton’s company was acquired by Americo Life and Annuity Insurance Company, where he continued until 2001 as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer.
Barton began his professional career at New York Life specializing in helping Texas school teachers save for retirement and eliminate debt through 403(b) retirement programs. He serves on the Board of Directors of several companies and is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and the Financial Planning Association.
A graduate of Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science, Mr. Barton holds Series 6, 22, 63 and 65 licenses with the NASD and holds a Group 1 Life and Health Insurance license.
John DiMeglio, Executive Vice President

John DiMeglio is the Executive Vice President of the Triton Group of companies. As Executive Vice President, Mr. DiMeglio is involved with the group’s overall business strategies, long-term planning, sales development, acquisitions, mergers, diversifications and the oversight of all real estate transactions. In addition, Mr. DiMeglio oversees all accounting and tax procedures and policies.
Prior to his involvement with Triton, Mr. DiMeglio was the general partner in numerous real estate partnerships. In his role, Mr. DiMeglio was responsible for locating, acquiring, rehabilitating, and selling real estate in southern California, Las Vegas, and central Texas, especially with regard to low-income multi-family properties. Mr. DiMeglio served as President of an NASD Member broker dealer. In that capacity, he developed and managed company relationships with shareholders, regulators, government agencies, attorneys, promoters, media agents, vendors, customers, auditors, clearing firms and the general public.
Mr. DiMeglio began his career with Arthur Anderson. He is a graduate of California State University-Long Beach with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
John Osborne Chief Marketing Officer

John Osborne serves as Chief Marketing Officer of Triton Financial, leading marketing, sales, business development, and alliances for the company.
Mr. Osborne has over 20 years of senior executive management experience, spanning several technology sectors. In addition to his broad technology industry expertise, he has extensive global operating, sales, and marketing experience, implementing worldwide strategies resulting in accelerated growth and profitability.
Most recently, Mr. Osborne led the global sales organization at Intermec Technologies, Inc., providing sales leadership to the company’s four geographies as well as leading the partner sales and marketing and sales operations organizations.
Prior to joining Intermec, Osborne served as CEO and President of 10X Software, Inc., an enterprise software and consulting company. From 1999 to 2001, Mr. Osborne was Executive Vice President and General Manager at drkoop.com, a leading global healthcare portal and new media network that delivered trusted medical and health information to consumers worldwide. In 1999, he participated in one of the most successful initial public offerings of that year. He also served as CEO and President of SunRiver Corporation (NASDAQ: SRVC; now Boundless Technologies Inc., NASDAQ: BDLS).
Prior to Boundless Technologies, Mr. Osborne was Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Operations in IBM/Lotus’ newly formed worldwide multi-billion dollar software business unit. Before joining IBM, he was Vice President of Sales and Marketing of the Commercial Division at Zenith Data Systems, a global personal computer manufacturer. He also spent over eight years in management positions with Businessland, a leading systems integration company.
Osborne received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Washington.
Richard Finlayson, Chief Operating Officer & Chief Technology Officer

Richard Finlayson is the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technology Officer responsible for Triton’s technology architecture and standards, developing the technology strategy for the company, and guiding Triton’s investments in technology-related acquisitions and investment opportunities.
Richard has over 15 years experience in software and technology-related business development, strategic alliances, and product development. Finlayson also has expertise in negotiating complex global acquisitions. His experience in creating business value from technology opportunities spans Linux, UNIX, Windows, and Macintosh platforms, including top-to-bottom software and systems solutions related to applications, operating systems, platforms, silicon, and development tools.
Finlayson’s successful career includes stops at Apple Computer, Cobalt Networks, Sun Microsystems, and AMD. With extensive experience in management of large teams and resources worldwide, business planning, forecasting, and contract negotiation, Richard brings operational expertise and technology acumen to Triton’s ongoing operations, as well as providing unique analysis in the acquisition process. A strategic thinker with a technical background, he seamlessly blends technology and business strategy.
David Tuckfield, General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer

In October 2006, the Triton group of companies named David Tuckfield as general counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. Tuckfield serves as the chief legal officer of the company and oversees its team of attorneys responsible for all aspects of Triton’s legal affairs around the world.
Prior to joining the Triton Group, Tuckfield was a Partner at Vinson & Elkins, LLP, a global law firm with 12 offices around the world, where he practiced law for 17 years.
He became a partner in 1999, specializing in administrative and regulatory law, working closely with large multi-national corporations on compliance issues. During his tenure at Vinson & Elkins, Tuckfield successfully guided several clients through numerous lawsuits involving individual tort, products liability, contract disputes, and class actions.
Mr. Tuckfield has also participated in a number of large transactions across a wide variety of industries – ranging from acquisitions in the communications industry to successfully representing multi-national conglomerates on legal issues stemming from major acquisitions.
Tuckfield, a native of California, graduated with honors from Brigham Young University in International Relations, earned his law degree graduating magna cum laude from the same school in 1989, and received several prestigious honors including lead editor of the Brigham Young University Law Review. He is licensed to practice law in Texas and the District of Columbia and speaks fluent Spanish.
Ty Detmer, Senior Vice President of Athlete Services

Ty Detmer is considered one of the greatest college quarterbacks of all time. In his junior year, Ty passed for 5,188 yards and 41 touchdowns. His ability to strategically break down and precisely execute plays secured him 42 NCAA records in 1990 and the Heisman Trophy. In all, Ty finished his college career with 59 NCAA records and, including statistics from bowl games, he totaled 16,206 passing yards and 127 touchdown passes at BYU.
Ty has parlayed his mastery and love of the game into a distinguished life after football. Now, as Triton Financial’s Senior Vice President of Business Development, the same focus on strategy and determination drives his efforts in the private business sector by leading and growing Triton’s player relations practice with preeminent professional athletes. He is also a member of Triton’s Senior Management Committee.
Koy Detmer, Vice President, Athlete Services

Koy Detmer is Vice President of Business Development and is responsible for expanding Triton’s relationships with preeminent professional athletes to capitalize on the accelerating growth of the “value-based” market.
Detmer brings a special element to the Triton Sports Management team. Born and raised in Texas, he has football in his blood. Detmer went to the University of Colorado where he was one of the most prolific passers in Colorado history passing for 5,390 yards. He also set the school record for most touchdown passes with 40. He graduated with a degree in Communications from CU before being drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in 1997 where he went on to play for ten years. Detmer’s most memorable performance came in a Monday night game against San Francisco in 2002. One week after Donovan McNabb broke his ankle, Detmer threw for 227 yards, resulting in two touchdowns and ran for another before leaving with a dislocated elbow in the third quarter of a 38-17 win over the 49ers.
In 2004, he received the Jack Edelstein Award for the player who displays exemplary character while motivating and inspiring others.
